Charging and plugging in audio

If you need to charge your streaming device at the same time as plugging in your audio source, you'll need an adaptor.

You have two options:

  1. Wireless charger
  2. Belkin 3.5 mm Audio + Charge RockStar

1. Wireless charger

For iPhone 8 and newer models, you can use a wireless charger such as a MagSafe charger or Wireless Qi charger. Many Android devices are also compatible with MagSafe and other wireless chargers.

These wireless chargers magnetically attach to the back of your phone for charging, leaving your lightning or USB-C port avialable to plug in your audio devices.

2. Belkin 3.5 mm Audio + Charge RockStar

If your phone doesn't support wireless charging, the Belkin 3.5mm Audio + Charge RockStar is an adaptor that will let you plug in your charger and a 3.5mm stereo cable into your streaming device.

These adaptors are available with Lightning (for iPhone 14 and older) or USB-C connectors (for Android phones and iPhone 15).

You will also need a TRS to TRRS adaptor for this setup.

Here's how to do it:
