Monitoring Usage

This page will show you the same colourful usage meter as you see on your dashboard home page, and also a list of all your recent connections.

Each connection will show the time and date, duration, and video settings. This is really helpful for troubleshooting internet connections. If you see a bunch of short connections, that means your internet was cutting in and out, instead of maintaining one stable connection for your whole class. It's also handy to check if you accidentally go over your plan limit, like if someone accidentally leaves the stream on for too long.

  1. In the menu, click on Usage
  2. The usage meter at the top of the page shows how many hours you have streamed this week. The usage meter resets on Monday 00:00 (midnight) in your local time zone.

Connections are listed in descending order (newest at the top). Each connection has its own row. Whenever you stop your stream, or your internet cuts out, a new row is added to the page.

  1. Start and end date and time for the connection.
  2. Duration of the connection.
  3. Settings used by the streaming app (resolution, average video bitrate, and average audio bitrate).
